Atlantic International Graduate Program (AIGP)
The Atlantic International Graduate Program (AIGP) is a unique immigration option for international graduates who have completed their studies in eligible educational institutions located in Atlantic Canada. This program allows graduates to apply for permanent residence without having to obtain any work experience beforehand.
The AIGP is a part of the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP), which is a new Canadian immigration initiative launched in 2017 and is still active. Through the AIGP, foreign workers who are eligible and have a job offer from an employer in Atlantic Canada can apply for Canadian permanent residence.
